Spaceteam Translation Tool

THIS TOOL IS NOW DEPRECATED. If you want to help make a new translation please see this post: http://spaceteamadmiralsclub.com/forum/discussion/307/help-with-translations

Step 1. Edit dynamic word lists:

INSTRUCTIONS

Don't worry about exact translations. If some words don't work in your language, just remove them. Conversely, if you have some great new words please add them!

Use the first row (above) for the default gender (eg. masculine), and these rows for additional genders (eg. feminine, neuter). You can also use one of the genders for the plural form instead.

These word parts will be combined with other parts to make the technobabble. BaseParts are sometimes used as adjectives and sometimes nouns. If this doesn't make sense in your language, leave the text fields blank.
Examples:

  • PrefixPartBasePart (eg. noun: "Fluxfield")
  • PrefixPartBasePartBasePart (eg. adjective + noun: "Echobeam Flange")

MundaneActions must have a comma between the button name and panel name.

Language Rules:

German: Verbs go after noun (eg. "Noun Verb!")
German: Hyphenate all compound nouns (eg. "Flux-field")
Italian: Hyphenate compound nouns with double letters (eg. "Super-register")
French: Add articles to names (eg. le, la, l')
French: Don't use BaseParts as adjectives

Step 2. Test results:

Push these buttons a bunch of times and make sure all the generated names "work" :) Use your discretion. If you see some bad examples, you should tweak the word lists to prevent that combination from happening, if possible.

Step 3. Translate static strings (this is the boring part):
